We understand the importance for women to have their own space to train. Learning jiu-jitsu and getting started can be nerve wracking enough, and training with a room full of men just isn't what some women are looking for.

For that reason we've decided to start a women's bjj self defense program designed by and for women. No prior experience is necessary, and classes will be taught in everyday clothing, rather than in a traditional jiu-jitsu gi.

Classes will meet every Saturday at 12:30 and focus on positions and techniques that are most likely to give you confidence in any situation you might run into.

We invite you and your friends to join us. Group rates are available...contact us today!

I have been training jiu jitsu since June of 2021 and started competing the following January. Competing and putting my skills to the test are important for me to not only gauge my potential, but also challenge my limits and push the boundaries of my capabilities. It is crucial for me to understand how to apply the techniques I’ve learned in training and in tournaments towards practical “real world” situations. With 28 tournament wins, jiu jitsu has given me the confidence to not only defend myself in the face of threatening situations, but has also inspired and driven me to help others feel the same way. Everyone should know how to protect themselves, and this women’s defense class will help others develop the skills necessary to do so.

I've been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for 3 1/2 yrs. I came to this sport later in life but didn’t let that to be a factor in my success. I train 3 to 4 days a week and enjoy the physical and mental challenge that’s given me. I feel stronger and more flexible then ever. The self defense aspect of my training has given me confidence and self awareness that’s served me well in my every day life. To me, the community has proven to welcoming, respective and supportive of women. I encourage all women to invest in their own well-being and safety by training a sport like BJJ. See you on the mats!!

I started training jiu jitsu 3 years ago and it has completely transformed my body and mind. I am more confident, more driven, and stronger than I’ve ever been. I initially took jiu jitsu for self defense but it quickly became my favorite hobby. Soon I was going out to compete to test my skills. I love the athleticism, competitiveness, and community. Learning the sport has compelled me to teach other women self defense. I want to show them how they can have less anxiety and more confidence going out. Empowering them with the knowledge they can take care of themselves.
